Our approach to our wine selection is simple, we hand-pick everything we possibly can. There is a sea of products out there, and we navigate through it looking for tasty value wines from smaller producers.
It was a surprisingly quiet week as far as new craft beer releases. Just a handful of new arrivals, but some good ones. Definitely check out the “new look” for Nelson Brewing on its brand new release, Passmore Pale Ale. This is a very modern take on the pale ale style—think juicy and tropical—and it’s available in 4pk tall cans featuring some really cool artwork.
If you haven’t signed up for our Loyalty Program yet you’re missing out on the opportunity to get some great Rewards. One of the main perks is you can redeem points for concert tickets at the Capital Ballroom, Royal Theatre, Copper Owl and more! In fact, here’s a list of shows coming in March that our Loyalty Programs can redeem their points for. It’s easy to sign, up too.
You’d never know that winter was still in full force with all these fruity IPAs and other fruity brews arriving. Despite the weather outside, the beer outlook is very sunny and tropical! We got some great new IPAs and pale ales as well as some brews (i.e. stouts!) more appropriate for the cold, snowy weather.
On Wed. February 13, 6:30pm, there will be a Hypnosis/Comedy Spectacular featuring the Amazing Mesmer at Esquimalt High School to benefit Youth Rugby. Cost is $20 (purchase tickets here) and all proceeds go to support Youth Rugby.
This week’s newest arrivals were almost evenly divided between IPAs/hoppy beers and sours, with a Belgian-style dubbel thrown in for good measure! Tall cans continue to be the preferred format of both brewers and craft beer drinkers and we are doing our best to put more and more of them in our fridges! And don’t forget that when you buy 4 or more tall cans, you get a 5% discount!
We’re trying something new with the latest BEER MAIL; we’re focusing on just two breweries: Superflux (Vancouver) and Twin Sails (Port Moody, BC). These two breweries have been consistently pumping out some of the most sought-after brews in BC. As you can see, they both focus on IPAs—and they both do them really well—but each release has a different twist. Some are hazy IPAs, or Double IPAs or are brewed with different hop varieties, while others are more traditional. The bottom line is that they are all great brews. In addition to the hoppy brews in this Beer Mail, there are a couple of big, malty stouts, so you get a little bit of variety beyond the IPAs these two breweries are known for. For just $65.85 plus shipping, we’ll send these 12 473ml beers anywhere in BC! If you live in Victoria, we’ll deliver it for free!
We offer a flat shipping charge of just $20 for Expedited Canada Post delivery anywhere in BC! FREE delivery to Victoria area addresses.
Remember, this box will only be available for two weeks, or until it’s sold out. Sorry, no substitutions.
Please note: Beer Mail orders can only be accepted from BC addresses. Orders must be placed during our hours of operation (10 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week), per liquor control and licensing terms and conditions.
