The winter warmers are really showing up now. Lots of strong, malty seasonals are landing with more on the way as we get closer to the holidays. We’re also excited to add new brews from Field House and Boom Box in Vancouver. The Boom Box pale ale sold out right away, but we will get more releases from them in the future.

Definitely more darker and heavier beers showing up this week. But then again we received Fuggles & Warlock’s popular Kiwami Plum Sour in 6pk cans, so not everything is dark and malty! Also, check out the glorious Four Winds Blackberry Jam IPA, which smells and tastes just like the name says. We’re also pleased to welcome back Base Camp brewing back to the store.

Beer Mail #30: Hard-to-Find IPAs(Sold-out)

The IPA continues to be the cornerstone brew of the craft beer world. Not everyone loves them, but they still outsell most styles handily. We put together some beauties for this one, with examples of the style that on their own would be hard to find in most BC liquor stores. We’re especially high on those from Portland’s Breakside, who are IPA masters. And don’t miss out on an elusive (at least for BC) release from Bend, Oregon’s Crux Fermentation. Heck, we even have a huge double IPA from Colorado’s Left Hand—a total knockout punch! For this rare-IPA Beer Mail you get two large-format bottles* (650ml) of each these six brews for $127 + shipping.

We offer a flat shipping charge of just $25 for Canada Post delivery anywhere in BC!

Remember, this box will only be available for two weeks, or until it’s sold out.

*All are large-format 650ml bottles (except where noted) and you’ll get two bottles of each beer. Sorry, no substitutions.

Please note: Beer Mail orders can only be accepted from BC addresses. Orders must be placed during our hours of operation (10 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week), per liquor control and licensing terms and conditions.

Beer Mail #29: Fresh Hop Mania!(Sold-out)

Celebrate the hop harvest with Fresh-Hopped Ales! For a brief period, some very special brews are released, beers that are meant to be consumed right away. These are called “fresh-hopped” or “wet-hopped” beers and they are brewed with hops that are freshly picked and immediately used in the brew kettle. But don’t worry, if you’re not a fan of bitter beers, these fresh hops don’t make beers extra bitter, they just add wonderful aromatics and flavours that can range from citrusy to foresty to grassy and herbal/minty. They can be brewed in many different styles from English-style bitters, pale ales and IPAs to German-style lagers. For this super-fresh Beer Mail you get two large-format bottles (650ml) of each these six brews for $102.5 + shipping.

We offer a flat shipping charge of just $25 for FedEx delivery anywhere in BC!

Remember, this box will only be available for two weeks, or until it’s sold out.
