Craft Beer Tasting Notes: July 6

Last week we had an unusual number of German-style gose beers, this week it was all about the brett-fermented wild ales. Lots of funky brews in stock now, especially the two rarities from Townsite—Bois Sauvage Wild Ale #1 and Bois Sauvage Assemblage #1—which were previously only available in the Powell River brewery’s tasting room. These are beers that you can drink now (and they are fantastic and fruity at the moment) or continue to age for added complexity. Also a quick shout out of congrats to Main Street for their 3rd Anniversary (the Hoppy Tripel to commemorate it is a beauty!).
