The new brews we’ve been receiving lately are perfectly suited for the sunny weather and soaring temperatures. Phillips Rifflandabrau Lager 5% 6pk (Victoria)
Pours a rich golden colour. Pleasant hop notes of mandarin orange and lemony citrus with hint of biscuity malt on the nose. Satisfying biscuity/crackery malt notes on the palate with nice floral hop notes and a hint of sweetness.
Phillips Dino Sour Blackberry Sour 4.2% 650ml (Victoria)
Pours a cloudy peach-orange colour. Notes of tart yogurt and sour dark berries on the nose. Juicy sour blackberry notes on the palate, with a touch of berry sweetness. Puckery finish.
Spinnakers Raspberry Lager 4.5% 4pk (Victoria)
Pours a pale watermelon red-pink colour. Tart fresh raspberry notes on the nose. Nice crisp, biscuit/cracker lager malt notes with nicely balanced fresh raspberry notes. Easy drinkin’!
Hoyne Entre Nous Cherry Wit 5.1% 650ml (Victoria)
Pours a clear orange/amber colour with a hint of ruby red. Fresh witbier notes of spice and clove on the nose with hints of ripe summer cherry. Tart, effervescent and dry on the palate with a pleasant ripe cherry finish.
Steel & Oak Shiny Things IPA 6% 4pk (Vancouver)
Pours a bright yellow colour. Juicy fruit, a hint of funk and a dash of citrus on the nose. Juicy citrus hop explosion on the palate. A touch sweet. Gorgeous.
Numbskull Imperial IPA [El Dorado] 9% 650ml (Victoria)
Pours a rich yellow colour. A ton of exotic fruit notes on the nose—bright and floral. Equally fruity on the palate with spice-pine hints and a balancing bitter finish.
Breakside Passionfruit Sour Ale 4.5% 650ml (Portland)
Pours a cloudy yellow colour with an orange tint. Notes of tart peach and passionfruit on the nose. The palate is beautifully tart, crisp and dry with nice natural passionfruit notes.
Swans Sucker Punch CItra Sour 5.5% 650ml (Victoria)
Pours a hazy orange-yellow colour. Dank citrus, melon, funk and floral notes on the nose. Lemon, grainy malt and tart peach on the palate. Great acidity.
