Craft Beer Tasting Notes: June 5

Well, this week is a wonderful mixed bag of styles! We’re excited to have more dry-hopped sours roll in from Powell and To Øl, which is a style—when done well—that’s a great, refreshing summer drink, with tons of flavour. Though it’s seasonally a bit off the mark, we’re also stoked to have our first beer (a wonderful, strong milk stout) from Kentucky brewery Against the Grain. If you’re a stout fan, you have to try the 35K Stout. So good. Lastly, when the the latest Moon Under Water Copper Kettle Sour hopped with Azacca hits our shelves, don’t expect it to be very sour. It drinks more like a wild IPA or saison. Delicious, but not sour!
