New Craft Beer (+ Cider) Arrivals: July 28

Every Monday we’ll be posting tasting notes on the latest craft beer arrivals. Check out what’s new!

NEW CRAFT BEER

Hoyneentrenouscherrywit

Hoyne Entre Nous Belgian Cherry Wit 650ml (Victoria) Pours a copper orange colour with a lovely cherry blush. You get an initial hit of witbier yeast spice on the nose, with just a hint of tart cherry in the background. The cherry notes are similarly subtle on the palate. There is a nice tartness and dryness to this beer that makes it quite refreshing on a warm day. There’s just not an abundance of cherry in it.

TrouDieuLaDivineComediewhitepils

Le Trou du Diable/Dieu du Ciel! Divine Comedie 750ml (Quebec) Pours a very cloudy yellow-orange colour. Notes of pineapple, spice and funk on the nose. The taste in an interesting combination, keeping in mind that this collaboration between Trou du Diable and Dieu du Ciel is a “white pils,” of herbaceous spice, hoppy fruit and bitterness and a little Belgian funk. It’s quite complex and has a dry finish.
