These tasty brews ignore the German Beer Purity Law of 1516, which dictated that beer should only be brewed with water, barley and hops. Our latest Beer Mail package focuses on an ingredient that’s not on that list: wheat. Wheat was banned at the time the law was enacted so it could be saved for making bread, but today it’s used in varying amounts in all kinds of different beer styles. In the spirit of harvest time, we’ve put together a Beer Mail box of six different kinds of beers brewed with wheat—a sour passionfruit Berliner Weisse, two saisons and a trio of traditional German-style Hefeweizens. Wheat gives these wonderful beers body, creaminess and flavour. This is a great way to experience its versatility and try some delicious, refreshing limited-edition beers for only $105 (+ shipping) for 12 large-format beers!
Remember, this box will only be available for two weeks, or until it’s sold out.
All are large-format 650ml bottles (except where noted) and you’ll get two bottles of each beer. Sorry, no substitutions.
Please note: Beer Mail orders can only be accepted from BC addresses. Orders must be placed during our hours of operation (10 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week), per liquor control and licensing terms and conditions.
