Heavier – Plenty of crushed-berry & chocolate character. Medium body, light tannins, yet firm & tight. Shows depth. Amazing value.
Pirueta, Malbec 2020 – 13.5% (Mendoza, Argentina)
Heavier – Aromas of plum & blackberry & delicate touches of cloves & pepper, a perfect harmony for a succulent barbecued ribs.
Masi Frescaripa Bardolino Classico 2020 – Corvina and Rondinella – 12% (Veneto, Italy)
Medium – Cherries, plums and hints of pepper on the nose. Delightful and refreshing with good supporting acidity. Cherries and black currants on the palate.
Pepperwood Grove Old Vine Zinfandel – 14.5% (California)
Heavier – Raspberry & plum aromas with hints of vanilla; lovely replay of raspberry fruit on the palate; medium-bodied & fruity with a vanilla finish
Famille Perrin Luberon 2020 – Bourbelenc, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Roussane – 13% (Rhone, France)
Unoaked – This wine reveals a delicate nose with aromas of peaches and limes. Round and fruity, the palate is well balanced, with a nice finish on citrus notes.
Colle Corviano Trebbiano D’Abruzzo 2020 – 12% (Abruzzo, Italy)
Unoaked – Intense bouquet of ripe apples and peaches. refreshing ripe apple and peach notes end with a gentle acidity.
