Product Spotlight: Deschutes Hop In the Dark

You may have heard about this relatively new emerging beer style called all kinds of wacky things that make no sense, like “black IPA” or “Cascadian dark ale.” Our local Phillips even has their own version, Skookum Cascadian Brown, that’s available in their Hop Boxes. But our favorite so far is Deschutes’ Hop In the Dark, which basically drinks like a nicely hopped version of their delicious Black Butte Porter and, like all Deschutes beers, is made with whole-cone hops. We love this delicious beer, whatever you want to call it, and are happy to be carrying it until it’s no longer available a month from now (it’s a seasonal offering). Get it while you can.
