Extreme Beer With the Beast is Back!

On Wednesday, April 27, from 7 to 9 pm, Cook St. Liquor will be presenting the latest installment of our Extreme Beer Tasting series, featuring Adem Tepedelen, the local author of the Brewtal Truth Guide to Extreme Beers! Though the format will be the same as the previous six, the venue has changed to a private room at Swans Brewpub (506 Pandora Ave.) allowing us to offer more tickets for sale. The first six events sold out quickly, so we wanted to give more people the opportunity to attend.

Extreme Beers 5-12

If you haven’t been to one of our events, here’s what we do: We carefully select 10 extreme craft beers, pour them in flights of two and pair them with a meaty morsel (or two) from Whole Beast Artisan Salumeria for the first four flights and a special creation from Yonni’s Doughnuts for the final flight. It’s a fun evening of amazing flavours. And if you think beer and meat pair well together, wait until you try extreme beer and doughnuts. Heavenly.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online for just $30 at this link. If you want to avoid the small service charge, we will have a limited number of tickets available for purchase in-store here at Cook St. Liquor.

We put on these Extreme Beer events five times a year in order to spotlight some of the wild and wonderful craft beer that we carry. Each event’s selection is carefully curated from the more than 500 beers we carry. Every beer we pour at the event, we currently have in stock, so if you taste something you love, you can stop in and pick more up in-store. Additionally, Adem will have autographed copies of the Brewtal Truth Guide to Extreme Beer available for $20 ea. (cash only) for sale at the event.
