Festival Season Means Great Giveaways!

Summer may be coming to a close, but the first few weekends of September are when some of the best festivals happen in Victoria. We’re talking about the Great Canadian Beer Festival, Sept. 11-12 and Rifflandia music festival, Sept. 17-20. Music and great beer, what’s not to like about that?

Though we have no official affiliation with the GCBF, this is an event that we look forward to all year, and over the course of the weekend, nearly every staff member will be there tasting all the latest offerings from our awesome BC brewers (and a few from further afield). This is an opportunity to mix “business and pleasure,” so to speak, as we seek out new brews to add to our fridge and shelves.

Speaking of which, if you like to stock up on craft beer bombers (650ml bottles) from BC breweries—or any breweries, for that matter—have we got a deal for you. Purchase four or more bombers from us next time you’re in and we’ll send you off with the sturdy cardboard carrier pictured below. But don’t recycle it when you get it home. If you bring it back in and purchase four or more bombers at one time, we’ll take 5% off the price of the bombers. Keep reusing it and buying four bombers at a time and get 5% off every time. Great deal, huh?

Want some more great deals? As a Rifflandia sponsor, we have a couple offers for wristband holders. The first one is a FREE,  limited edition Cook St Liquor/Rifflandia t-shirt with any $20 purchase. These will be available starting Sept. 13. Quantities are limited. Secondly, wristband holders who make any purchase starting Sept. 13 can enter to win our Booze Bonanza Basket (pictured below). There’s no limit to the number of times you can enter, but you must make a purchase to get an entry and you must be wearing your Rifflandia wristband.

Remember, if you follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, you can find out all about the latest news and arrivals as they come into the store. Hope you have a great September!
