According to Victoria Wine Society President, Glenn Barlow, the next Victoria Wine Society event will be a casual, blind tasting of 30 BC wines for $30 in a “standup” reception format at Brasserie L’ecole, Monday, November 22 at 7 pm. He says, “It’s an opportunity to sharpen your skills at varietal identification and hopefully find some bargains. The selection is based on the Canadian Wine Awards and Okanagan Winefest winners.”
Cost is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. To register for the tasting, payment must be received in advance to reserve a space, and there will be no exceptions, as availability is limited.
